Our training takes place inside a live NHS GP practice in East London — the same environment you'll be working in once qualified. From your very first day, you're interacting with real patients, using real clinical equipment, and working alongside a qualified healthcare team.

What to expect

Most courses run 9am–5pm. Here's how a standard training day flows.

Morning

Theory & anatomy

Blood science, vein anatomy, safety protocols, and patient communication

Mid-morning

Technique practice

Hands-on practice using training arms and equipment before moving to live patients

Afternoon

Live patient bleeds

Perform venepuncture on real NHS patients under close supervision from your trainer

End of day

EMIS & sign-off

Introduction to the EMIS clinical system used in GP surgeries, then assessment and certification
