The Enhanced Package is our most comprehensive course and the one chosen by people who want to go beyond training and move directly into NHS employment. It includes everything in the Standard Package — theory, mannequin practice and five supervised live bleed sessions — plus practical skills in printing blood forms, using EMIS for blood tests, a formal competency assessment, and a supervised work experience placement at our NHS GP practice in East London.
During your placement, which is agreed individually, you work alongside our trainer and clinical staff, building speed, confidence and a real track record of venepuncture on real patients. On completion you receive a reference letter that you can submit directly to NHS hiring managers. The placement is a powerful addition to any CV and gives you real, verifiable NHS experience.
