FAQ

Common questions

Can't find your answer? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll get back to you quickly.

How do I book a course?
The easiest way is to message us on WhatsApp. Tell us which course you're interested in and your preferred date — we'll confirm availability and next steps within a few hours. You can also call us on 020 3026 2741.
Do I need any experience or qualifications to start?
No experience is needed. Our Entry Package and Standard Package are designed for complete beginners — no medical background required. If you already have some experience, courses like Live Patient Bleeds or the Refresher Course may be a better fit. Message us if you're unsure.
Where does training take place?
All practical training takes place at our NHS GP Practice in East London. The full address is shared once your booking is confirmed. The surgery is well-connected by London Underground and bus. We do not share the address publicly out of respect for the patient environment.
How long does training take?
Most courses run as a single day, 9am–5pm. The Enhanced Package includes additional work placement days — duration is agreed individually at the time of booking. Theory Only and Refresher courses may be shorter. See individual course pages for details.
What certificate will I receive?
You'll receive a CPD accredited certificate in phlebotomy, recognised by NHS trusts and private healthcare employers across the UK.
Is funding available if I'm unemployed?
You may be eligible for full course funding if you are unemployed. Contact us to find out more.
Can I get work experience after training?
Yes — work experience at our NHS GP surgery is available exclusively as part of the Enhanced Package. This includes real shifts alongside the clinical team, exposure to EMIS, and a professional reference from your trainer. Duration is agreed on an individual basis.
How soon can I find work after qualifying?
One of our successful students secured her first NHS job immediately after completing the Enhanced Package work placement. Results vary, but the real-patient experience and CPD certificate put our graduates in a strong position.
